Camping at Fernwood

Fernwood sits among the redwoods along the Big Sur River on Highway 1. Big Sur gets busy, and the coast road sometimes closes after storms or slides, so check road conditions and book ahead. If you are hoping to see the ghost, bring a warm layer and a red flashlight for those 2 a.m. walks back to your cabin.
